About Us
Wild Pair is a privately owned family business with a long history in fashion footwear. Our first Wild Pair store opened in Queen Street in April 1994 and came out of a need in NZ at the time for a young fashion forward shoe store where the latest styles as seen from London to New York could be bought at prices that wouldn't cost you the plane fare. In their travels our buyers came across some great apparel samples that we initially used to spice up our window displays but so many people wanted to buy them that overnight we found ourselves also in the apparel business. It worked! And people still love to buy their entire outfit from us.
We have a great team of people working with us - out of the 19 people in our support office five of them have worked with us since the very beginning not to mention several key people from different stores that have been with us for over seven, eight and ten years.
We still have the original store in Queen Street and 18 others around the country and more store locations being planned.
